SPRING ?????

You got to love Vermont. Yesterday it was fifty degrees and we were all out walking and today Old Man Winter let us know that we can't put those winter clothes away just yet. It is this type of weather that make us Vermonters such a hearty bunch. This just means we will have to wait patiently a bit longer until for spring.

Today the weather was nice and so the whole family took a little walk in the woods. Even Mommy decided to head out with Ethan. As for Cass, she just loves the woods

Cass really enjoys the outdoors. She has become such a big girl. Cass can play outside for hours on end. Like her Daddy she is definitely at home in the mountains.

From Our Family to Yours

Thanks to all of our family that helped make this past Easter so enjoyable four us. We all enjoy getting together with everyone and spending some real quality time. Although it does seem to get more hectic each year. But the kids do enjoy it so. We look forward to many more opportunities to make great memories.

BLOG ON

Over the past month or so I have really enjoyed the time spent updating the blog. We have also all enjoyed the pictures and stories shared on the blogs that we read. It has allowed us to remain up on the happenings of our friends and family. Cassidy really enjoys the pictures of Masey and the slide show that Kerry has put on the Wilkins blog. So I encourage everyone to go to blogspot.com and create their own blog. It is really easy and takes very little time to post the latest news. We could create our own little online community. It is really a great way to keep in communication. If anyone needs a little help just drop me a line I will help if I can.

Well Cassidy went to a birthday party for one of her friends from Happy Days. Can't believe that she is getting so big. She had so much fun at the party and has a real cute little group of friends. Guess this is just the beginning of a lot more parties and get togethers with Cassidy.

Winter Hanging On

Woke up this morning and took this picture of Benedict Hollow. Last night's rain showers left a little bit of snow on the moutain tops. Just a little reminder that winter is not over yet.

Cassidy has been a great big sister. She really loves having Ethan around. She always wants to hold him and is so helpful to Mom and Dad. We are so lucky to have such a sweet little girl. All is well, Ethan and Mommy are doing great. We are all adjusting to having another member in our family and we love it.

Boy are we all glad that Papa decided to make maple syrup. "Papa's Sugar Shack" has become a great place to hang out and still be able to claim, "I'm working". The grand kids really love it and it gives everyone the chance to enjoy being together. So here's to "sugarin", the old-fashioned way. We can't wait to taste the syrup. Thanks Papa

Well the day finally came and Cassidy had her Birthday Party. She was so excited with the arrival of Ethan that she didn't even remember that it was supposed to be last weekend. We all had a great time and Cass would like to thanks everyone for coming and of course for the presents. A special thanks to the Grandparents and the Aunts & Uncles, we couldn't do it without you. We Love You All.

Friday afternoon Cass, Daddy, and Ethan decided to hike down the Gramma's and Papa's. We met them in the woods by the hickory nuts. It was a beautiful day, about 55 degrees. Cass just loves the woods and the outdoors (as you can tell), and Ethan seemed to enjoy it as well, as long as Daddy kept moving.

Who's Who

Well there has been quite a bit of debate over who Ethan looks like (consensus is that he looks like his Dad). We also wondered if he looked anything like his big sister Cassidy. So these two pictures were put together in order to compare Cassidy and Ethan. So you can decide what you think.

Well everyone is home and doing well. We have all done our well to settle into the new routine. Ethan actually seems to be pretty quiet and mellow (let's hope it continues). Cassidy has been very helpful and does everything she can to help her little brother. Errin is doing well and really feeling good. She also really enjoys that she doesn't have to go to work in the morning, but who wouldn't?

Ethan was born on February 29, 2008 at 5:01 PM. He weighed 6 lbs. 13 ozs and was 17.25 inches long. The birth went by very well and Errin did an excellent job. Everyone is home and doing well. Cassidy is so happy to have a little brother and she is an excellent big sister. She continues to want to hold him and does not like it when he cries. She has even changed a diaper with Mommy. We are all so happy and blessed to have a healthy little addition to our family. A special thanks to our families who helped make this whole process go by without a hitch.
