Winter Hike

The whole family took a little hike down to Gramma and Papa's house. There was just enough snow to pull the kids in the sled. The Errin and the kids slid down the hill into the gravel pit. In the foot steps of his sister Ethan fell asleep before we got to the house.

Xmas Day

Once again we had a tremendous Christmas up on Pickering Hill. Cassidy is at a great age for Xmas, she was so excited she could barley contain herself. As for Ethan it was great just to watch his reactions to everything. It was also great to see the families on Xmas day. All of the grandparents came up during Xmas day to see Cassidy adn Ethan, it sure was great to see them

Last night Ethan was playing in the kitchen and we noticed he had sort of disappeared. Well we found him in the cupboard playing with the cups and bowls. He was as happy as could be and a little proud of himself.

Cass says, "He is quite the little sneaker."

Well this past weekend we packed up Ethan and took him for a hike. It was in the middle of a snowstorm and he loved it just the same. Daddy is so glad that there is another outdoorsy little one.

XMAS is coming

This past weekend we did a little bit of Xmas decorating. As usual we put up Bambi and Bucky as well as a new addition, the tree. We also got some new blue lights and did the gable of the house. Cassidy says it helps to let Santa know where we live.

Pickering Hill RV Park

On Friday night a man looking for Aunt Carrie came up the drive in his RV. He was sure that he could back it up himself, but no such luck. Took Arlington Fire and Rescue to get him out of the vehicle.

Then on Sunday two towing companies from over Woodford had to come over to get the vehicle out. After a few minutes of surveying the situation they went to work.
Under the watchful eye of Papa P. They had the vehicle out in no time.
Here was the RV. Looked to be in pretty good shape for the trip it just took.

Kid Comparison

Here is a little picture to compare the kids. Both pictures were taken in the beginning of Cassidy and Ethan's first Novembers. Errin figured out (using her thorough record-keeping), that Cassidy was around five pounds heavier then Ethan. But Ethan was about a half an inch taller.

Cassidy has been wanting to give Ethan a ride on her bike, but that was a bit scary. So we allowed her to give him a cruise on her car. Ethan loved it.

The kids really enjoy the beach today. So here we are at Goose Rocks Beach

in Kennebunkport. We spent a good part of our afternoon there.

We met up with Jim and Eileen at the Kittery Trading Post (Seems like Hooper and Jimber were the winnners here). We then went up to there hotel in York and then went out to lunch. It was a lot of fun, always good to share some time with family. Thanks again Jim & Eileen.
