New Hiker

Well Ethan went out for his first hike in the backpack. Which meant that the big sister had to walk the whole way and she did fine.

Mommy's Birthday

Well Errin's birthday was on Saturday. So on Sunday Cassidy and Daddy baked her a cake. Cass was so excited and wanted to sing to her.

Berry Picking

Cass and Turtley
Ine of the best things this whole week was Cass finding a new friend, Turtley. It was a little painted turtle from the pond. She kept it all week and made sure to feed it bugs and to change its water every day. She also nearly loved the thing to death. Well at the end of the weekend the deal was she had to put it back. As you will see in the video she did a good job to put Turtley back in the pond. But after the release Cass said, "That was hard I am going to miss my friend."

Hello Old friends

Cass got herself a little Spongebob treat for the ride home. She did a great job on the ride home and didn't complain once. She did ask "How many more minutes?", a few times though.

Last Day of Play

Morning Kayak Voyage

Slip Sliding Away

The girls wanted to go to the playground so Gramma took them. They were so cute pushing there little strollers. While there Cassidy wanted to show Masey how to go down the slide. After the original crash and burn, Masey wanted no part of the slide.

Strawberry Picking

Well we all went up to Canada to do a little strawberry picking. Cass and Mase absolutely love it. There is a great place to pick berries just over the US border. This year the berries weren't quite as good as years past, but they girls loved them anyways. Not sure if they were good berry pickers or just good berry eaters.

The Daredevils

A little video of Hayden and Zach, the boys who are camping next door. They have been so great to always take time to play with Cassidy and Masey. This is the boys just having a little fun.

Sand and Sun

Cassidy and her swimming baby buried in the sand. Swimming baby was actually able to do a little swimming today after Cass finally deemed the water safe for her doll.

The fireworks display way up here in Island Pond was very impressive. The town of Island Pond puts on quite a July 4 extravaganza. A great parade and some excellent fireworks. I took a bunch of fireworks pictures, but they did not come out very good.
