Where in the US are they?

This beautiful view as created around 5700 BC. The lake is the deepest in the United States and the seventh deepest in the world (depending where you get your information). This whole area was recognized by the United States on May 2, 1902. The lake is also one of the clearest lakes in the entire world. The island in the middle of lake is known as Wizard Island.

Hey Hooper. This is fun. I am guessing without Google-ing the clues.

Is it Crater Lake?
Thanks for the game.
