Cass and TurtleyIne of the best things this whole week was Cass finding a new friend, Turtley. It was a little painted turtle from the pond. She kept it all week and made sure to feed it bugs and to change its water every day. She also nearly loved the thing to death. Well at the end of the weekend the deal was she had to put it back. As you will see in the video she did a good job to put Turtley back in the pond. But after the release Cass said, "That was hard I am going to miss my friend."

It is really hard, Cass, to say good-bye to our animal friends. I always want to take in new animals, but they really belong out in the wilderness where they were born. You did a great job and made a great little friend; Turtley.
